图书介绍:陈乃芳教授:1964年毕业于北京外语学院(现北京外中语大学)英语系,留校任教。1978-1980年被外交部借调在我国驻驻欧共体使团工作:1984-1985年国家公派赴美国麻省大学访问学习;1992-1995年由教育部派遣会我国驻比利时使馆兼驻欧盟使团教育参赞。现任北京外国语大学党委书记、校长,九届全国政协委员,享受国家政府特殊津贴,几十年来一直从事教学和党政管理工作。现已出版英语教材多部,在中外核心期刊发表学术论文40余篇。顾日国研究员:中国社会科学院语言研究所研究员、博士生导师、当代语言学研究室主任、《当代语言学》杂志主编之一;同时兼任北京外国语大学校长助理、网络教育学院副院长。1985年获英国兰开斯特大学语言学系语言研究优等硕士学位。1987年获该系语用学与修辞学博士学位,师林英语学术院院士Leech院士。在国内外刊物上发表论文35篇。现任国际语用学协会常务理事、中国功能语言学协会常务理事,教育部远程教育专家组成员、教育部自学考试委员会委员兼英语学科组组长。先后获霍英东教育基金1993年第四届青年教师科研类一等奖,1994年北京市哲学社会科学优秀论文一等奖、1995年中国“国氏”博
